I’m an Associate Professor of Political Science at Oslo New University College (Oslo Nye Høyskole—ONH) and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Social Research (ISF).

In August 2024, I’ll join the Oslo Business School at Oslo Metropolitan University as an Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Policy and Administration.

I lead the project Redefining the Public Sphere: Education Reforms and the Inclusion of Women in Public Participation (REPS), funded by the Norwegian Research Council’s Young Research Talents scheme.

My main research interest is gender inequalities in politics and the labor market. Additionally, I study public opinion, political participation,  and electoral institutions. My research appears in journals such as the American Journal of Political Science, Electoral Studies, Political Science Research & Methods, and Politics & Society.

During 2017-18, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University and affiliated with the Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS). I received a PhD in Political Science from the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2016, supervised by David Soskice and Jonathan Hopkin.
